Job Description:
NURSE002046 Nurse Practitioner specializing in Palliative Care
provides comprehensive, compassionate support to patients with
serious, life-limiting illnesses. This role involves assessing and
managing symptoms, coordinating care among various healthcare
providers, and offering emotional and psychological support to
patients and their families. The Nurse Practitioner in this field
focuses on improving quality of life by addressing physical,
emotional, and spiritual needs, while also facilitating advance
care planning and ensuring that treatment goals align with the
patient's values and preferences. Effective communication and a
holistic approach are essential for delivering personalized,
patient-centered care. This is an outpatient position where the
provider will see patients in their home environment. Hours are
typically 4-10 hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts. There are no
weekends or holidays but there is hospice call. Cheyenne Regional
