Job Description:
Trillium Construction is hiring for a General Manager in
Englewood, CO to manage the industrial and commercial painting
services in the Denver area. You will be overseeing daily
operations of local offices, reviewing project proposals, and
helping to handle personnel needs at the local offices. This is a
direct-hire, full-time, long-term position offering a salary around
$100,000/yr plus benefits and bonuses! Duties:
- Provide oversight for the daily operations of the region,
keeping project managers and office personnel on task to ensure
profitability.
- Provide estimating personnel with oversight and support; review
estimates as determined by outgoing cost parameters for all cost
details and project schedule compliance. Estimating may be required
on an as needed basis.
- Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame,
funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing
requirements, and allotment of available resources to various
phases of project.
- Establish work plan and staffing for each new project, and
arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel,
including projects impacted due to inadequate labor or 2nd tier
subcontractor or notices of default when applicable.
- Gather and prepare project reports for senior management.
- Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and
to resolve problems that may be clear from weekly project
reports.
- Coordinate project activities with activities of government
regulatory or other governmental agencies in conjunction with the
project team as required.
- Provide oversight for shop personnel and company equipment,
ensuring all equipment and vehicles are kept in working order,
accounted for, and that we have the proper inventory to fulfill the
needs of the regional office.
- Establish and maintain business development relationships
related to the regional office and those that may stretch to other
regional locations.
- Work closely with the Corporate office to manage and maintain a
set yearly budget with job and overhead goals. Compensation:
- Annual salary around $100,000 + bonuses

- Previous management experience within the construction industry
required
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g.
ERP, CRM).
- Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance,
